RED TERRITORIO
The RED TERRITORIO project is a pioneering initiative launched by the Registry Foundation of the Spanish Association of Property Registrars, in collaboration with the University of Valladolid and the UNESCO Chair in Housing at Rovira i Virgili University. Its aim is to analyze and disseminate the main transformations taking place in urban and rural areas of Spain from a legal, social, and economic perspective.
Its primary purpose is to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and society, creating a space for dialogue where researchers, registrars, legal professionals, economists, urban planners, and social actors involved in territorial planning, development, and cohesion processes can come together.
RED TERRITORIO combines scientific rigor with a popular and social approach, using an audiovisual series in interview format as its communication tool. This series is designed as a means of publicly disseminating academic and professional thought on contemporary territorial challenges.

Dr. Gemma Caballé delivered a lecture on the law of real estate professionals organized by the Spanish International Realty Alliance (SIRA) in webinar format during November 17th to 19th 2026.

Closing ceremony of the 12th Edition of the Course “Real Estate Agent and Property Management”
On March 21 took place the last session and closing ceremony of the 12th edition of the course “Real Estate Agent and Property Management” 2025/2026 organised by the UNESCO Housing Chair.
Hackathon
Professor Sergio Nasarre and Dr. Pablo Ruiz participated in the 2026 Cloud Computing Hackathon, organized by the URV/T-Systems Cloud Computing Chair at Rovira i Virgili University. The hackathon focuses on creating intelligent applications to solve real-world problems faced by citizens, such as access to housing. The event took place on March 20, 2023.

Lecture
Dr. Philippa Hughes and Dr. Núria Lambea are participating in the Conference “Public Housing as a Pillar of the Social State: Emerging Challenges and Innovative Responses”, organized by the Spanish Association of Public Housing and Land Managers (AVS). The Conference took place in Cádiz on March 12th and 13th, 2026.
