The UNESCO Chair in Housing has won the Joan Pedrerol Prize from the URV’s Social Council for the social impact of research in the ex post modality. The Chair transforms scientific knowledge into policies and tools to guarantee this right, combining rigorous, interdisciplinary research of national and international scope, legal innovation, specialized training and social awareness with the desire to generate real improvement in society.

Seminar “Ten Years of Shared and Temporary Catalan Property”

The UNESCO Chair in Housing is organizing the Seminar “Ten Years of Shared and Temporary Catalan Property”. In this seminar, several experts, academics and professionals will analyze two Catalan civil institutions that should be key to promoting access to housing: shared property and temporary property. And they will do so ten years after their inclusion in the Civil Code of Catalonia by Law 19/2015. Access is free but capacity is limited to registered people, both in person and virtually.
