National Congress
Professor Sergio Nasarre, Dr. Gemma Caballé, Dr. María Paula Rodríguez, and other members of the Chair participated in the National Congress of Property Managers, organized by the Tarragona Association of Property Managers. The Congress took place in Tarragona from May 28 to 30, 2026.

Community workshop
Dr. Gemma Caballé participated in the community workshop “Recognizing, listening and living together: Realities of the Roma community today”, which was held at the Anella Mediterrània in Tarragona on Thursday, May 28. This event, promoted to promote equality and social inclusion, aims to highlight the history, heritage and current realities of the Roma people.
Second synthesis of the project “What Works in Housing Policies?
Dr. Héctor Simón participated in the presentation of the second synthesis “Housing and homelessness” of the project “What works in housing policies?”, in collaboration with the Ivàlua Institute and the Generalitat de Catalunya, which took place in Barcelona on Thursday, May 28, 2026. The Project analyzes which public policies are really effective in reducing residential exclusion. The objective is to offer rigorous and useful knowledge to guide the design of evidence-informed policies and guarantee the right to housing for all.

Workshop MUDEC
Dr. Annie Rivera Cruz, Assistant Professor of Civil Law at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, will participate on Tuesday, May 26, in the Seminar on the subject “Real Estate Contracts” of the Master’s Degree in Business and Contract Law (MUDEC) at the Rovira i Virgili University, with the presentation “Puerto Rican legal duality: between civil law and common law”.

The UNESCO Chair in Housing, in collaboration with the regional Deanship of the Association of Land and Commercial Registrars, the Illustrious Bar Association of Barcelona and the Chair of Registration Law of the University of Barcelona, organized the Seminar “Ten Years of the Catalan Shared and Temporal ownership”, which took place on May 21, 2026 at the headquarters of the regional Deanship of the Association of Land and Commercial Registrars.
