The Universities of Southampton (UK), Deakin (Australia) and Rovira i Virgili (Spain) organize the international workshop ‘Living Cheek by Jowl’: Socio-legal explorations of the challenges of housing intensification” on 30^thJune and 1^st July 2022in Oñati. It will deal where various aspects related to housing and the urban environment and what “living in community” entails will be discussed.

Dr. Maridalia Rodríguez Padilla presents her book El fideicomiso inmobiliario y la inversión extranjera como instrumentos para mitigar el déficit habitacional on Friday, June 3 at 12:45h, at the Salón de Actos of the Eugenio de Trías Library in El Retiro Park. The event is organized by the Embassy of the Dominican Republic as part of the celebration of the Madrid Book Fair 2022.

The presentation will be given by Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre, professor at the Rovira i Virgili University and the author herself, who will offer a general analysis of the work.

Dr. Núria Lambea Llop will talk about affordable housing best practices at a European level at the conference “Access to housing for families in situation of social exclusion: reaching an agreement on policies”, organized by EAPN-ES (Red Europea de Lucha contra la Pobreza y Exclusión Social en el Estado español) and EAPN Illes Balears, and taking place on 27 May in the Parliament of the Balearic Islands, in Palma de Mallorca.
