Dr. Núria Lambea Llop will be a keynote speaker at the conference “Social innovation in the management of public housing stocks: an integrating and transversal vision of the inclusive right to housing”, organized by AVS (Spanish Association of Public Land and Housing Managers), taking place in Cadiz, on May 19th and 20th.

Scholarships
The Chair offers five scholarships for housing technicians, real estate professionals and interested students for the Housing+ Summer Course that will take place between July 4 and 8, 2022 in Tarragona.

The publication of the research of Dr. Maria Font i Mas, Dr. Diana Marín Consarnau, Da. Núria Lambea Llop and Silvana Canales Gutiérrez, called “The Catalan regulation on digital platforms of tourist housing and how it fits in with European Union regulations and case law”, of the Centre d’Estudis Jurídics i Formació Especialitzada de la Generalitat de Catalunya, is now available.

Mr. Pablo Ruiz Osuna will participate next Wednesday, March 30 at 11 am in the final of the URV Competition “Do you want to know what I research? He has been selected among 30 candidates to reach this final, in which 6 predoctoral students will participate explaining their doctoral thesis in the Bartrina Theater of Reus.

Publication
Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre Aznzar and Dr. Rosa M. Garcia Teruel published the article “Fifteen years without a housing solution. Legal innovation and data science in housing policy”(Revista Crítica de Derecho Inmobiliario, núm. 789/2022).
In this scientific contribution, the authors analyze the housing policies of recent years and assess whether the normative quality criteria were followed in their publication. They also explore the use of data science to contribute to more objective and evidence-based legislation, taking into account the role that law research should play in housing policies.
