Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre Aznar, Dr. Héctor Simón Moreno and Mr. Santiago Ariste Castaño have published the article “The calculation of the income control of Law 12/2023 violates the constitutional rights of private property and equality” in the Revista Crítica de Derecho Inmobiliario, nº 811, September-October 2025.
This work connects the statistical calculation of the income control and its proven economic inconvenience in facilitating access to decent housing with the civil and constitutional framework in which the right to private property is embedded, and concludes that the index and its application violate the essential content of the aforementioned right, while causing situations that violate the constitutional right to equality.

The research project promoted by researchers from the URV and coordinated by Dr. Blanca Deusdad makes a seal robot available to the elderly to improve their quality of life and that of their environment. Residents of the Santa Creu Jesús Home (Tortosa) have had the opportunity to interact with Nuka, the robot with the appearance of a seal pup designed to generate empathetic bonds and improve communication and well-being of the elderly. For two weeks, Nuka will remain at the Santa Creu Home so that researchers and professionals can observe its effects on daily life and social inclusion.
