19th International Workshop “Collaborative Housing: Typology, Suitability, and Experiences”

The UNESCO Chair in Housing is organizing a workshop titled “Collaborative Housing: Typology, Suitability, and Experiences”. Dr. Philippa Hughes has spent two years conducting research at the URV UNESCO Chair in Housing, investigating key aspects of collaborative housing in Catalonia and England; her work has led to the establishment of a typology and an analysis of the motivations for choosing this lifestyle, as well as the experiences and challenges faced by residents. This research was carried out within the framework of the European project CollabHome, supported by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship from the European Commission.

The seminar will take place on October 13, 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m. in the Board Room at the URV Catalunya Campus; Prof. Hughes will present her findings and lead a discussion with the attendees.
