Publication – Housing Chair URV

Dra. Maridalia Rodríguez-Padilla in co-authorship with the real estate law specialist Denisse Härtling, member of theObservatorio Judicial Dominicano (OJD-Funglode), have published in number 19 of the “Saber y Justicia Magazine” of the National School of the Judiciary of the Dominican Republic (ENJ), the article entitled “Ley de alquileres y desahucios: propuestas legales para un parque de vivienda en equilibrio”. In this article the authors reflect and analyse the most relevant points of the current project General Law on Real Estate Rentals and Evictions, which is reviewed by the National Congress of the Dominican Republic. Several recommendations are provided in order to achieve an efficient regulation of the housing rental market and be able to increase the supply of adequate housing.
