EDUCATIONAL MODEL
The Mediation Specialist Diploma successfully combines teachers from the academic area and from the professional world, mediators at local and international level, school mediators, business and property mediators; in every case, experts in mediation chosen for their professional or academic value.
The result could not be anything but dynamic classes which challenge students, which put them in extreme situations, where they feel emotions, where situations are put forward which, at first, seem unsolvable. Classes are sessions based on role-play, in the analysis of cases, all accompanied by suggested reading and classes.
This is combined with interdisciplinary rigour, essential to tackle the difficult subject matter of mediation. Despite having a considerable quantity of legal content, psychologists and social workers also participate.
All this is accompanied by practical sessions using real cases, following the model laid out by the Legal Apprenticeship Service Clinic (APS).

PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
The training we provide creates a new professional category in itself: that of mediator. This produces managers and mediators of conflict in civil, family, business, mortgage-related, educational and community arenas, in the private as well as the public sector.
However, this training additionally complements the training and development of skills of professionals in other fields, who see their occupational possibilities augmented. This is the case for lawyers and legal assessors in general, psychologists, teacher-trainers and social and professional workers in other specifically related branches.
Finally, our students can also become teachers and trainers in the field of mediation and conflictology.
