Doctoral thesis defense
Dr. Pablo Ruiz Osuna, pre-doctoral researcher at the UNESCO Housing Chair at Rovira i Virgili University, defended his doctoral thesis entitled “The legal personality of intelligent automatons” on Friday, 13 September 2024. The act took place at the Catalonia Campus of the Rovira i Virgili University.

Participation in the Housing Council of Tarragona
Dr. Héctor Simón took part on Wednesday, 24 July, in the plenary session of the Housing Council of Tarragona on behalf of the UNESCO Housing Chair. This Council is a consultative body with the capacity to prepare constructive proposals so as to guide the city’s housing policy. Its constitution was proposed in the Tarragona Housing Local Plan 2021-2026, drawn up by the UNESCO Housing Chair.

First stone social rental housing development
Dr. Núria Lambea Llop attended the act of laying the first stone of the “Les Oliveres” social rental housing development, a project resulting from the collaboration between Tarragona City Council through SMHAUSA, the SALAS Foundation and the Nou Lloc Foundation.
