Last Saturday, February 29, took place the last session and closing ceremony of the 7th edition of the course “Real Estate Agent and Property Management”.

Homelessness Comprehensive Care Network

The annual plenary meeting of the Homelessness Comprehensive Care Network of Tarragona was held last Thursday, February 6. The UNESCO Housing Chair is part of this Network, along with 26 other entities, which aims to work in a coordinated manner to address the phenomenon of homelessness in the city.

Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre has visited the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) in Melbourne (Australia), on February 14, to learn about the coordination of research and the transfer of knowledge on housing.

New Project del Observatorio Social de la Caixa

Data science of judicial decisions for evidence-based housing policies in Spain.

The project aims to trace the patterns of legal reasoning inspiring decisions that go on to become cornerstones of jurisprudence, and that may even lead to legislative changes. we will also seek to quantify the desired and undesired consequences of such decisions, and we commit to transfer our results to policymakers and judicial bodies.

University of Valladolid

The Director of the UNESCO Housing Chair, Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre, and the researcher Núria Lambea have been invited at the University of Valladolid to exchange knowledge with researchers of the Faculty of Law on housing policies, mortgagors and collaborative housing (09/01/2020).

Delivery of a copy courtesy of “The threshold” experience

Dr. Sergio Nasarre and Dr. Estela Rivas delivered a copy courtesy of “El Llindar”, a simulation experience to raise awareness about homelessness, to Mr. Javier Hernández from the Salle (Tarragona), in gratitude for her collaboration in making this experience a reality.
