Participation in the Housing Council of Tarragona

Dr. Héctor Simón took part on Wednesday, 24 July, in the plenary session of the Housing Council of Tarragona on behalf of the UNESCO Housing Chair. This Council is a consultative body with the capacity to prepare constructive proposals so as to guide the city’s housing policy. Its constitution was proposed in the Tarragona Housing Local Plan 2021-2026, drawn up by the UNESCO Housing Chair.

The Chair awards the Certificate of Good Social Housing Management to the Nou Lloc Foundation

The Nou Lloc Foundation has obtained this seal awarded by the UNESCO Housing Chair after an evaluation process, which certifies the correct application of appropriate management criteria for social housing and the people who use it. The event took place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 and was attended by Pere Esteve Sala, President of the Nou Lloc Foundation; Sílvia Grau, Director of the Housing Agency of Catalonia; Noemí Gómez, Director of ICF – Catalan Institute of Finance; Jordi Purrà Clarà, Director of the Nou Lloc Foundation; Àngels Rico, Social Coordinator of the Nou Lloc Foundation; and Enric Fabra Monné, Technical Secretary of COHABITAC.
