Purpose of the seminar: The growing technological innovation, the problems that arise after the imbalance produced in the environment, and the increasing social differentiation of all kinds makes us move towards a new model: the smart city, where Sustainable Development is one of the main objectives and, all this for reasons of social justice.
About the speaker:
Dr. Isabel de la Iglesia Monje is a professor at the Faculty of Law at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), with three six-year research periods, four five-year teaching periods, and evaluated as an excellent professor (Docentia program), with an award in his work. She is an academic at the Real Academia de Jurisprudencia y Legislación de Madrid, socia de IDADFE, and she is a regular contributor to the Revista Crítica de Derecho Inmobiliario. She has written more than 200 publications, in the field of family, minors, civil liability and contracts. Director of the Research Group (UCM) Tort Law. Contract law). She has supervised 3 doctoral theses. She began her research work with the award of a UCM Predoctoral Fellowship in 1990-1994 and the completion of her thesis. She has participated as a speaker or presented communication in more than twenty national and international congresses and scientific conferences. She has participated in more than twenty teaching innovation projects, one being IP, and participated in several research projects. Research stays at some of the most prestigious foreign universities such as: Coimbra (2017), UNESCO Housing Chair of Rovira i Virgili University, URV, (Tarragona 2021), Porto (2021-2022).
