Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre and Dr. Núria Lambea participated as speakers, on 18 October, in the conference “Debat sobre l’habitatge: El foment de les polítiques d’habitatge des de diferents àmbits”, talking about housing policies at the local level and the management of social housing from a European perspective, respectively. The conference was organised by the COAC (Demarcatió de Girona – Escola Sert) and the Diputació de Girona.

The predoctoral researcher Andrés Labella Iglesias has published an article titled “La propiedad horizontal como instrumento para los apoyos al ejercicio de la capacidad” in the journal Anales Especial 2022.
Joan Rodríguez y Ana Duque, exalumnos de nuestro Postgrado en Políticas de Vivienda, participan en el último número de la Revista Housing (número 17), resumiendo sus trabajos de fin de postgrado, los cuales merecieron la máxima calificación.

Diari Digital de la Universitat Rovira i Virgili reported the article of Dr. Héctor Simón “The occupation of dwellings without qualifying title and fundamental and human rights in conflict”, which won the prize for the best paper published by the Journal “Revista Crítica de Derecho Inmobiliario” in the years 2021 and 2022.

On September 30, 2022, Silvana Canales Gutiérrez, researcher of the UNESCO Housing Chair, defended her doctoral thesis entitled “The guest-consumer as an international subject of protection against online platforms of tourist accommodation”, and obtained the highest qualification and Cum Laude recognition from the thesis examination committee.
Prof. Sergio Nasarre participated on September 27th on Canal Reus TV, explaining the basic elements of the draft 2022 Housing Law, highlighting the double risk of unconstitutionality of the Law.
Dr. Núria Lambea participates, on 22 September 2022, in the Conference “Affordable renting and collaborative housing: the experience of the Lloguem! project”, organised by the City Council of Mataró and the Diputació de Barcelona, in which the lessons learned from the project “Lloguem! Yes, we rent” project are presented. Dr. Lambea is a member of the Advisory Board of this Project.
On September 19 2022, Dr. Héctor Simón Moreno won the prize for the best paper published by the Journal “Revista Crítica de Derecho Inmobiliario” in the years 2021 and 2022 for his article “The occupation of dwellings without qualifying title and fundamental and human rights in conflict” (no. 786, 2021). The event took place at the Association of Land and Mercantile Registrars of Spain.
