Workshop
This Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., the UNESCO Housing Chair will hold the 14th international workshop “Robots, housing and human rights” in classroom 419 of the Cataluña Campus. Topics such as the robot as a new citizen, housing purchase in China and the right to housing in the context of the SDGs will be discussed.

CEJFE Project on urban leases in the Catalan Civil Code
Centre d’Estudis Jurídics i Formació Especialitzada (CEJFE) is funding a project on the analysis of the draft bill introducing urban leases into the sixth book of the Civil Code of Catalonia.
On the one hand, a systematic, comparative and interdisciplinary analysis is undertaken of the civil elements that are relevant for the lessor and the lessee, and, on the other hand, the imbrication of the Draft Bill in the Catalan and national legal system is studied.

5th anniversary of the Mutua de Propietarios Foundation
Dr. Núria Lambea attended, on behalf of the UNESCO Housing Chair, the event to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Mutua de Propietarios Foundation, held in La Pedrera, in Barcelona, on 24 November.

On 17th November, Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre participates in the Congress “20 years of the Civil Code of Catalonia” organized by the Department of Justice, Rights and Memory of the Government of Catalonia. The professor talks about the future of the Civil Code and mentions novel topics such as metaverse, neurorights, etc.
