Congress
The video of Mr. Andrés Labella Iglesias’ communication “La propiedad horizontal como instrumento para los apoyos a la capacidad” (Multi-unit building as an instrument for capacity support) at the III Congreso Nacional del Derecho de la Discapacidad (III National Congress on Disability Law) held in Granada on November 24th and 26th is now available.

Project
The Diputació de Tarragona and the URV promote the investigation of 32 new projects that revert to the demarcation of Tarragona; one of them is the project directed by Dr. Estela Rivas Nieto on “Taxation of housing in the local world”.
Advisory Board
Dr. Núria Lambea Llop has been appointed member of the Advisory Board of the “Yes, me rent!” project, an initiative on affordable rental housing of the Mataró City Council, co-financed by the EU Urban Innovative Actions Programme (11/2018 – 10/2022).

Webinar
The Webinar “New collaborative models and good practices on homelessness” will take place next Friday December 17th, from 10am to 12pm. This virtual event is organized by the FACIAM Network and the UNESCO Housing Chair of the URV. Dr. Núria Lambea will talk about “Good practices on homelessness and affordable and social housing and the future Spanish housing Act” and Dr. Héctor Simón about “Cohousing and coliving: a model for people at risk of residential exclusion?”. Ms. Dolors Camats (director of the Cooperativa Obrera de Vivienda) and Ms. Susana Hernández (president of FACIAM) will also participate in the online event, talking about “The collaborative phenomenon and the management of common elements” and presenting the Report “50 Solutions to homelessness and residential exclusion”, respectively. Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre will welcome the participants to the Webinar.

Pablo Ruiz Osuna participates on December 16 in the II International Congress of Philosophy of Law, organized by the Complutense University of Madrid and the Autonomous University of Chile, with the presentation “Rights for robots? ? The robot as a new legal category in civil law ”.

Mr. Andrés Labella Iglesias will give on December 15 at 4:00 p.m. the presentation “Law 8/2021, which reforms civil and procedural legislation to support people with disabilities in the exercise of their legal capacity and its impact on real estate contracting ”, within the framework of the MUDEC seminars.
