Presentation

The Housing + EU project announces  its 2022 Summer Course. It will take place in Tarragona from 4th to 8th of July. Several activities with housing-related professionals, policymakers and students have been organized, including co-creation sessions to improve the materials designed for the very first cross-border European Housing Studies Course that will start in 2023.  Field trips through different cities and villages surrounding the Roman city of Tarragona and training seminars with the best national and internacional specialists complete the intense program.

The co-creation sessions

Parters working within the Housing+ project have designed a range of tools to provide for a complete training of current and prospective professionals and policymakers in relation to housing studies at European level. It is going to be a massive on-line course (MOOC) that will start in 2023. These tools include a complete on-line training platform, videos, a cards videogame, a coursebook, a blockchain transaction toolbox and a guide for European multi-unit buildings.

Attending professionals, policymakers and students will be invited to co-create the tools at their current stage with their creators, resulting in their improvement and optimized performance.

All co-creation sessions will take place during mornings at El Seminari.

The international seminars

We have invited relevant national and international experts to train the attendants to the Summer Course and to get updated information on the situation of housing in Europe from a holistic perspective: affordable housing, housing stakeholders, housing tenures, property & technology and housing, city & territory.

Among those speakers are national and international housing academics, directors of housing companies, housing technicians in the Public Administration, notaries, land registrars and technology experts and researchers.

The field trips

During the Summer course, attendants will enjoy several field trips through the municipalities of Reus, Tarragona, Cambrils, Altafulla and Espluga de Francolí that will bring them a unique occasion to understand the way we live in this part of Spain.

Scholarships available

There are still 5 scholarships available for attending the Summer Course. Elegible profiles are housing-related professionals, policymakers, technicians and interested students. They all should be advanced English language competents.

Scholarships include the meals for the days of the course, the seminars and the field trips.

Interested candidates may send their complete CVs to Dr. Gemma Caballé: gemma.caballe@urv.cat until 27th June.

Certificate of attendance

All attendants will be granted a certificate of attendance.
