The Housing Chair of the URV offers the possibility of doing a PhD in Law through a doctoral thesis on the challenges in decision-making in multi-unit buildings.

Dr. Gemma Caballé and Dr. Núria Lambea received, last Thursday October 28, the Extraordinary PhD Award 2019-20, as well as the PhD diploma, in the framework of the Doctors Graduation Ceremony of 2019-20 and 2020-21 and Extraordinary Awards 2018-19 and 2019-20. Both their doctoral thesis supervisor, Prof. Dr. Sergio Nasarre and their family members also attended the event, which was finally a live in-person event.
Dr. Caballé had the honor of representing through a speech the winners of the Extraordinary PhD Award Ceremony.
Tuesday 19th of October Dr. Sergio Nasarre and Dra. Gemma Caballé have been invited to the Plenary Session of the General Council of Real Estate Agents (CGCOAPI) to explain the conclusions of the book “The real estate brokerage profession in the face of new housing challenges” published by Tirant lo blanch as a result of the doctoral thesis made by Dr. Caballé and directed by Prof. Dr. Nasarre.

Dr. Gemma Caballé Fabra speaks for the digital newspaper La Ciutat about her book “La intermediación inmobiliaria ante los nuevos retos de la vivienda”, explaining that the objective of the book is to show that the API profession has to be regularized.
Next Wednesday, April 21 at 6 pm, will take place the virtual presentation of the book through Microsoft Teams platform (https://cutt.ly/wx84g0B) of the book “La intermediación inmobiliaria ante los nuevos retos de la vivienda” written by the researcher Dra. Gemma Caballé Fabra which is published by Tirant lo Blanch.
At the event we will have the participation of Mrs. Elia Domingo, Publishing Director of Tirant lo Blanch, Mr. Gerard Duelo, President of the General Council COAPI of Spain and the Professional Association of Real Estate Agents of Barcelona and Mr. José Antonio Mas Flores, President of the Professional Association of Real Estate Agents of Tarragona.

Dr. Núria Lambea Llop has been awarded the Extraordinary PhD Award of the Rovira i Virgili University, corresponding to the academic year 2019-2020. She defended her doctoral thesis “Propuesta de uno modelo de provisión y gestión de vivienda social clavo europea” (Proposal for a social housing management model in a European context) in January 2020 and obtained the highest distinction, excellent cum laude.
She also recevied, in 2015, the Extraordinary Award for the Master’s Degree in Business and Contractual Law.
The postdoctoral researcher of the UNESCO Housing Chair URV obtains the Extraordinary Award for her PhD in Law of the academic year 2019/2020 with her doctoral thesis “The Real estate brokerage profession in the face of new housing challenges”. This recognition is added to the Extraordinary Awards for the Degree in Law and the Msc in Business and Contract Law (MUDEC) that she obtained in the academic years 2013/2014 and 2014/2015.
The Chair offers a pre-doctoral scholarship within the framework of the Martí i Franquès Research Grant Program. The research line is The tangibility of the right to housing.
